GREGNWMN shows off his irresistible vocal inflections on this jazzy, colourful new single ‘SOLAR FLARE’, which also features Carter Ace flexing his untamed flows. Instantly, the song has a classic feel to it and is a must for any summer playlist. 

With his addictive first verse and hook, the Jamaican-American rapper GREGNWMN shows parallels to wild vocalists like Johnny Venus of EARTHGANG, or Meechy Darko of Flatbush Zombies – perhaps two of the maddest, most fascinating voices in Hip Hop. 

The production is playful, and full of life – sounding like a cross between KAYTRANADA and 9th Wonder with its bouncy, yet timeless feel. It’s an incredibly energetic instrumental which is guaranteed to have you nodding your head, thanks to its catchy bass line and driving percussive rhythm. 

Carter Ace’s feature does not disappoint, riding the beat alongside GREGNWMN, showing an almost Outkast-esque chemistry – it would for sure be a great experience in concert, and hopefully soon we will be able to catch them in the UK.
