Arriving with new single 'Grace' Bradford-based soul-fusion band Normanton Street join forces with their hometown youth orchestra. The track combines punchy vocals from lead singer Phoebe, with a suave rap section from guitarist Nicholson with further symphonic melodies provided by Brandford Youth Orchestra. Providing a thought-provoking concept, they successfully capture the emotional tensions felt when you put somebody on a pedestal in your life and let you down in the song.

Made up of Ned, Nicholson and Phoebe, Normanton Street have used music as the binding thread to their longstanding friendship. Since joining forces and jamming together on a regular basis they have played gigs and festivals across the UK, Europe and US as well as supporting the likes of Talib Kweli and Mercury-nominated poet Kate Tempest.

Speaking on the track, Phoebe explains.

I hope the message that people take away from ‘Grace’ is that it’s sometimes okay to feel negative emotions - to feel angry or hurt. What matters most is that you address those feelings in order to move on – this song helped me do that and we hope it does that for others too.

As they kick off their roll-out of new music in 2021, Grace' is the first of three singles in the build-up to a longer project set for release later this year.
