‘good morning world’ is chuala’s brand new ode to Mother Earth. Atmospheric and enchanting, the self-produced single sets a high standard for her imminent EP release.

The lifelong musician was inspired by birds singing at sunrise after she’d been up all night making music herself. To gentle, echoing electric guitar, chuala shares her feelings of shame and gratitude towards the planet, reaching out like a caring friend.

It’s visuals mimic this intimate reflection, showing camcorder-style footage of urban mornings, where natural beauty shines through cityscapes.

Chuala recorded the track in Berlin while held up over lockdown, and given her strong credits songwriting for big artists through Universal Music Publishing Germany, it seems like her sword is being well-sharpened in Deutschland.

This lead single lays the foundations for what’s to come in her next EP, following last year’s haunting debut 2 My Dead Father. “Good morning world, are you up? Are you here? Are you OK?”
