In the shadow of his widely acclaimed EP, 'The Hallowed', and a stream of singles for 2021, Gao The Arsonist follows up with the new single 'Bleed'.

Bleed is a scathing commentary on how capitalism has conditioned us to base human value on productivity. Gao's manic, skittering production is laced with irony-clad lyrics, verses proudly declaring that fulfillment is found through self-destructive amounts of work. Gao also challenges the sentiment that the suffering you endure indicates how much happiness you deserve.

Being born into a conservative, Jamaican family, growing up in the crevices of the UK and then being dragged across the world to Beijing at the age of 12, detaching him from the British culture. Poised to extend his audience, Gao looks to put his foot on the gas with further releases for the remainder of the year.
