Revered British electronic quintet Metronomy have recruited Biig Piig on single ‘405’, taken from their latest project ‘Posse EP Vol 1’.

Led and founded by Joseph Mount in 1999, Metronomy have merged rock with the changing soundscape of the electronic scene for as long as I have been alive, proving to be both progressive and grounded in their adaptations of current music.

The five track EP, which dropped last week, recruits vocalists and lyricists predominantly from our great rock, but also features LA-based bedroom pop creator spill tab. It has been uttered that Mount had not heard of some of the artists with whom he collaborated with prior to this release, although I am not sure which of the artists this is true of.

One thing I do know is Biig Piig’s contribution on this track is a key one. She harmonises effortlessly with the synth-heavy beat whilst searching for love which was right under her nose all along.
