what's different. // radio silence.

Teasing us with a sample of his new EP, Mom Tudie brings us his first dual release what’s different. // radio silence. The self-taught producer’s dual single quite clearly draws upon London’s rap scene, whilst reinventing long standing traditions of jazz to welcome his audience into his brave new world.

The tracks follow the confusion and uncertainty we all experience when we’re dating. Side A carries a more aloof and dispirited melody, whereas side B exposes an immediate glee that gives his listeners a sense of hope when contrasted with the former. The dual release is undoubtedly an emotive piece that beats along with our own hearts. Mom Tudie shows us a vulnerability that is perhaps less pervasive in his previous tracks. With no features, and using his own vocals for the very first time, we get a raw and stripped back version of him that allows us to share his experience and feel his music as the backing track to our own love lives.
