Toxic City

Brighton-based singer songwriter vi0let shares atmospheric new offering ‘Toxic City’, released via Nü Inc. Sound / DMY Artists

Born and raised in Germany by way of Ireland, vi0let has been passionate about music from an early age, featuring on The Voice Kids Germany at the age of 14. Using her diverse cultural upbringing, the artist creates art full of vulnerability and individuality, infusing pop, R&B and hip hop with a sprinkling of electronica.

Having gained a following throughout the last 18 months with fresh, infectious singles like ‘Nothing Personal’ and ‘Ignite’, vi0let will be looking to continue to build hype with this introspective and dreamy offering.

A ballad drenched in reverb and melancholy, the airy production and subtle mixing create an ambiguous and celestial timbre that highlights the dreamy vocals of vi0let. Accompanied by a suitably serene video directed by Julia Jalyschko, the singer makes an impression with thematic, focused writing and translucent, soaring vocality.

With catchy hooks and engulfing soundscapes, vi0let is certainly a name to have on your radar.
