Greentea Peng releases woozy new track Top Steppa, which oozes with her classic, vintage neo-soul sound, but this time with more psychedelic rock leaning instrumentation. The track is part of her new mixtape GREENZONE 108, which is out now, following standout alternative lead single Look To Him. 

Greentea Peng sounds as calm and effortless in her flows as usual, and in typical fashion has cool, quotable lyrics like ‘no technique, a top stepper, no such thing as unique, a trendsetter’. It’s a great taster of her new project, with her enticingly laidback, comfortable delivery, and odyssey of soundscapes. 

Produced by Earbuds, the beat is influenced by a range of sounds, with a dub rhythm, jazz infused drums and a spiralling rock instrumental flip. It’s a dazzling plethora of sounds which transition together flawlessly. 

The new mixtape comes shortly after last year’s fantastic debut MAN MADE, a 19-track exploration into psychedelic soul, reggae, jazz fusion, and boundless other versatile sounds.
