Bristol’s Chrissie Huntley offers up an impressive concoction of R&B, soul and pop on new single ‘Supposed To Be’. Having initially gained acclaim both locally and nationally, Chrissie has used lockdown as a stimulus to rebrand her artistic persona away from the public eye. Now back with a canorous, captivating sound, the Brit School graduate looks set to make an impression on the UK scene.

Collaborating with upcoming producer Laurence Fazakerly Buglass, vibrant textures are the foundation for Chrissie to pull the listeners heartstrings with ethereal, divine vocality as the singer stuns with each passing note. She wistfully explores the psyche of her post-relationship self, embodying both purity and despair through her understated and endearing songwriting.

On the stirring new single, Chrissie remarked:

‘Supposed to Be’ is one of the first songs I ever wrote when I was a teenager and I just got dumped by the guy who I thought was supposed to be “the one”. I think we’ve all been in that position where you know that it’s over, but you just want to hold on and pretend just a little while longer…

A promising and compelling droplet, Chrissie Huntley looks set to take the industry by storm this year.
