Pussy Whip

Mancunian and self-prophesised loverboy Sleazy F Baby is back on the mic for heavy-hitting single Pussy Whip, out now on Melonskin Records. 

Aside from a few guest verses on the odd Cult tune, Sleazy F has been relatively quiet in terms of content, or that was the case before a chance encounter with none other than Dirty Dike. I guess you could call it perfect timing as Dike has recently departed from the revered High Focus to start a label of his own with friend and producer Pete Canon- enter Melonskin Records.

This is only the labels third-ever release, leading on from Dike’s Bucket Kicker and Eva Lazurus’ How Am I Looking, one produced by either founder. This time it is Dike back on the ones and twos, and to great effect; he switches up the beat continuously to play into Sleazy F’s punchy, but varying, flows which you’ll want to hear live. 

Dike has produced many great albums over the years, some springing to mind more than others… but this looks to be first in a string of collaborations between the two artists. With radio and street edits available to listen to, perhaps, perhaps (!), you’ll hear ‘Pussy Whip’ on your way to work.
