Part of Me

London-based alt pop artist NUUXS releases visuals for ‘Part of Me’, a powerful number from her impressive debut album.

Born in Hackney to French and Lao parents, NUUXS is an artist who defies generic convention and sonic expectation with effortless ease, offering emotionally potent, artistically significant and musically adept music that refuses to be boxed.

Having unleashed her impeccable, and at times devastating, body of work ‘Heirloom’ earlier this month, the singer songwriter serenades us with symbolism with this unsettling and highly creative visual offering.

Speaking on the video, NUUXS commented:

I co directed ‘Part Of Me’ with Jidoh. They took beautiful black and white shots in slow motion expressing the anguish that comes with the song and its meaning. I later added more of storyline on my side and filmed my neighbours daughter who was absolutely fantastic with everything. It was all playful but she has these beautiful big eyes that say so much.

Take in these stunning visuals and don’t forget to check out the whole project; it’s truly breathtaking!
