Noctis

Enigmatic visionary Feux graces us with a silky-smooth number lingering in introspection, linking up with fellow London pen-smith Xadi within their lulling offering ‘Noctis’.

Feux is hands-down one of theee most exciting talents to come out of the UK’s rising Underground’; blessing us with a mind-blowing array of offerings throughout his kaleidoscopic time in the game; presenting us with numbers such as his break-out tune ‘Life?’, to the likes of his highly-praised EP ‘Dubious’.

Xadi only matches the energy of the dubious poet, presenting a vast arsenal; sonically switching up from pensive slow jamz layered with bending harmonies, showcased on the velvet-like Mañana, to the heavy-hearted outpour within the deep-cutting ‘Outsiders Freestyle’ - seeing the talent break through the industry’s sonic firmament, and etching his presence in the minds of many. So, you can only imagine what the pair have to offer within this number.

‘Noctis’ see’s the two coasting atop an eerily laid-back soundscape, as the two trade bar-for-bar throughout; presenting some undeniably organic chemistry all the way through, vividly seen within those effortless hand-offs to one another fuelling the offering’s weaving cadence.

Wrapping this one up, the two sound-smiths turn to Tommy Chadwick to add the finishing touches; taking us on a twilight-lit journey, going hand-in-hand with the glooming soundscape and Xadi’s nocturnal tendencies (‘no I am not a morning person, more-time I creep in the noctis’).
