Plucked from her highly anticipated debut EP, hotly tipped soulstress Monét returns with new understated single ‘No Words’. 

An artist whose sound engulfs genre with graceful poise, the Peckham native incorporates elements of Neo-Soul, Alternative R&B and Jazz to name a few. With a sample library that J Dilla would be proud of, long term producer Solomon has infused eclectic sonic landscapes with Monét’s signature style and vivid lyrical prowess. 

Following the recent release of her gorgeous, sophisticated single ‘Just One Of Those Days’, Monét has received plaudits from major tastemakers such as BBC Radio London and Reprezent Radio. Returning with a new flavourful and creative offering, Monét impresses with her effortless delivery and vivacious wordplay. 

The watery keys sample and rigid, off kilter percussion emit a pensive, subtle soundscape for Monét to flow smoothly on. Tongue in cheek flexes and introspective thoughts are the lyrical flavour here, with seamlessly cool bars such as ‘I’m on my hypeman’ sprawled across the running time.

One of the most exciting alternative R&B artists of the year so far, Monét looks set to continue her sonic and emotional exploration on upcoming EP, ‘Profile 1’.
