Neo Soul odyssey Taloula swoons her way to sonic bliss on new cut ‘Keep on Tryin’’. 

You may recognise the beautiful vocals of Taloula. Previously known as Tal, the London-based singer songwriter gained acclaim as a pop artist with Warner Music in France, but took the incredibly brave decision to re-locate and rebrand herself in order to follow her true passion in soul and R&B and embrace her sonic vision. 

The instrumental of ‘Keep On Tryin’’, co-produced by FARR’s Linden Jay and Taloula, teases us. With the delicate acoustic guitar drawing us into Taluola’s gorgeous vocal, we are hit with a serendipitous groove that has the sonic threshold to knock your socks off. The colourful production is matched by Taloula’s serene vocals, which weave through the beat in wistful harmony. The song thematically focuses on the beginning of Taloula’s new journey, reflecting on her past and seeing the vibrancy of her future. 

Commenting on the gorgeous cut, Taloula remarked: 

“This song is about how determined I am to never give up. As I try to listen to my inner peace, I feel like I can trust my instincts to lead me on the right path. Even though there are obstacles, I see the light through them.”

A debut single under her new alias, let’s hope Taloula begins as she means to go on. This R&B scene just keeps getting better and better!
