West London rising rapper Benzz arrives on the scene with a bang dropping his highly anticipated single and video, Je M'appelle. Quickly becoming a leader in the next gen Drill movement, ‘Je’Mappelle’ is #3 trending video on YouTube at the time of writing this. Directed by Marta Strauss, the video reflects high energy scenes shot locally to Benzz in Ladbroke Groove, layered with on screen lyrics and curated emojis. Representing the pinnacle of sample culture, the track is led by the famous Destination Calabria melody, arguably one the biggest dance tracks of the early 2000’s. Overcoming ongoing battles with two other artists for the sample, the release represents a triumph for Benzz in more ways than one. 

Inspired by the likes of West London artists Central Cee and Digga D and with early co-signs from ArdAdz, AdzMilli and Billy Billions, Benzz is on the way to cementing his position within the competitive UK Drill landscape. Marking a significant tipping point for his music career so far, Je’Mapelle is the beginning of something incredible.
