In the Dungeon: Chapter Two

Tottenham producer ODXC has made an impressive return with the second instalment of his In the Dungeon EP series – In the Dungeon: Chapter Two. Capturing the rising producer’s versatility, the six-track project incorporates drill, hip-hop, grime and R&B and is seriously worth a listen.

The new EP is the sequel to last year’s In the Dungeon: Chapter One, which already firmly put ODXC on the map as one to watch out for, but the talented producer has raised the bar even further with this follow-up project. Like the first instalment, Chapter Two sees ODXC invite a host of up-and-coming artists from around the UK to showcase their artistry and talent as they rap and sing over his genre-spanning productions.

Speaking further on the project, ODXC commented:

As a producer, networking is very important to me and during the lockdown this became more apparent. I wanted to create an inclusive platform for all types of artists and genres, shining a light on artists who wouldn’t get the opportunity especially during the lockdown, which was hard for many people. I never like to pigeonhole myself, so the second chapter has a variety of sounds and genres like R&B, grime, rap and drill.

The EP also includes new single R T R Freestyle, which features north London MC Ben DSP. The grime track is one of the highlights on the project and is accompanied by an equally impressive music video directed by ODXC. “I have always had a love for grime, and I've wanted to work with Ben DSP for a while”, ODXC commented. “This is our first release and not the last.”
