In The Dark

Hailing from South-London, emerging songstress Nava Adé releases her new single 'In The Dark' taken from her forthcoming EP.

Her vocals embody a chilled-out, sultry mood combined with a traditional R&B vibe which sits at the core of her soundscape. Her glistening pen touches on the vulnerability two people can feel together, a concept that resonates amongst her audience due to the warm, sensual feeling it brings.

The accompanying video centres ‘black love’ all the way, bringing Nava’s creative versatility to the light. Posing a captivating colour palette, the Moeysha Ashley directed visual compliments the aesthetic of the song, allowing her audience to connect with it.

Speaking on the track Nava said:

“The song is about capturing that feeling of finding refuge and solitude in the arms of another; it’s warm, it’s sensual and conceptually quite intimate.”

On the back of this release Nava looks forward to a fruitful 2021 in the lead up to her upcoming project.
