Hazy

Experimental rap group NUZU have released their debut single ‘Hazy’, a track that is well on the way to bring the group momentum with their expressive delivery and dynamic visuals that emit a strong sense of modernity within the production of the track.

Consisting of rappers Kayes Mensah, Teige and producer/videographer Killion, NUZU is defined as a self-produced project that its members aspire to keep their assets as in-house as possible. With the track produced and visuals filmed and edited by Killion, it pushes forth the idea of keeping things tight-knit which sits alongside their enigmatic style.

Having said to take influences from cyberpunk-styled cult classics such as the 1988 Anime/Sci-Fi film Akira and 1982 film Blade Runner, the NUZU go ahead to produce sonic feels and textures within their music after honing their craft within the past year or so. By taking a cryptic stance through their visuals, with dark and dingy moments that are sometimes only shown by a flicker of light, NUZU have shown you inside their state of mind; it’s up to you if you want to follow them deeper.
