R&B artist MyCompiledThoughts wears his heart on his sleeve in new single Pentagon. The complex and introspective offering has now been further brought to life by the accompanying music video.

Visualising the themes of mistrust, betrayal and hope in both past and new relationships, the music video follows MyCompiledThoughts as he reflects on love from all angles. Flowing melodies and suave vocals beautifully capture the emotions of the track MyCompiledThoughts describes.

“The song ‘Pentagon’, like the shape, has multiple meanings or sides to it. It is about being defensive. The song starts with the line “Promise me you’re different” because my guard is up after being betrayed. But it is also about passion, and how my passion for my past lover leads me to disregard the chance of future romance.”

Pentagon will be joined by new single Venom on July 22nd.
