Don't Come Back

Lava La Rue drops harmoniously somber single Don’t Come Back. Swiftly following the release of High-Fidelity'featuring bandmate BiigPiig, Don't Come Back is the second release in anticipation of their EP ‘High-Fidelity’ set to drop July 29th. Signed to independent music reps Marathon Artist, the EP is a 5 unit track list, featuring songs, Don't Trip, Cry Baby, Don't Come Back, Hi-Fidelity ft Biig Piig, and Motel.

Speaking about Don’t Come Back, the artist expresses:

It’s being in a relationship where you know that person isn’t good for you, but you can’t help but go back and forth with them. Instead of ripping off the band-aid, it’s tearing it off slowly, and scratching at the scabs.

Since founding the much-celebrated London-based alt-pop collective NiNE8 in 2014, La Rue has branched out, working on solo projects staying fluid and embracing the group’s lo-fi, alt sound, and DIY quality.
