Day N Night

Trailing his official debut release ‘Work’, MIJ returns with an infectious number ‘Day N Night’ featuring Len.

Hailing from north of the river, this upcoming voice, even though only a few releases deep, is already exhibiting a glimpse of promise with his unique voice, authentic wordplay and catchy hooks all wrapped up in a spirited cadence. 

Looking back over a year ago to his first release ‘Work’, it’s evident that the talent has been tucked away in the studio developing his poise behind the mic, as the hiatus presents MIJ with a silky-smooth delivery, that sees him pattering across the trap-infused instrumental, punching lines upon the potent drum sequence: ‘she wants a man that drives that German’ and a personal favourite ‘you can get somewhere with chirpsin’ but you can go somewhere with earning’. 

The track is paired with visuals courtesy of Rounstoppable, Syah and Lunasroom displaying MIJ and his clique cutting scene to scene: from gliding out the passenger seat window reciting lyrics in the day to the passover into the night as Len establishes his presence with his unprecedented energy and of course that classic ‘legooo’ tag to seal it.
