Bittersweet

Razor teams back up with RD Millz for cathartic full-length Bittersweet, which proves to be just the record we need in 2021.

It's hard to think of a better word to describe the last 18 months, and the North West London rapper's brutal honesty in dealing with the making and breaking of relationships is perfectly executed to knock you down then pick you back up.

Closing track 'Rainy Days' is a particularly reflective track, weathering a storm brought about by a broken home, but earlier in the record Razor pulls no punches on the XXX-rated 'Swimming in Your Ovaries', capturing the highs before the lows. There might not be a happy ending in the normal sense of the term, but still managing to find a silver lining is better than any cheap plot twist.
