Better

Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Geo Jordan is doing everything ‘Better’ with his confident new single. He knows how to write a song, having produced and written for a whole host of names, including Lianne La Havas, Oscar Jerome and Flatbush Zombies. Geo’s latest solo drop draws together his skills in synth-spotted electronic soul.

Esteemed ex-member of band The Hics, Geo Jordan steps into his own, bringing his own charm and, (as described in the song’s lyric video), a “plonky guitar line” to a track fending off an obsessive partnership.

The tune’s self-shot music video was premiered by Clash Magazine and sees Geo from the angle of various entertaining household objects, singing: ”I’m too old to give a f*** about that, I’m not here for the trouble you bring / You’re too old to be acting like that, anyway, baby you should know better”.

‘Better’ sets a vibrant benchmark for Geo Jordan’s upcoming EP Technicolour, a project set to explore the artist’s trans journey, through a self-written and produced kaleidoscope
