Bad

It’s a Midlands to Manny affair as Coventry’s Pa Salieu links up with Aitch for sure fire hit ‘Bad’.

These two have been bringing their cities some serious mainstream attention of late. Pa’s 2020 ‘Send Them To Coventry’ was one of the outstanding debuts of last year; broody, intrusive and socially conscious, it’s impossible not to feel a weight lifted from your shoulders when you reach that radiant Mahalia featuring finale ‘Energy’. Three albums deep and boasting collaborations with some of the biggest names in UK music, industry sweetheart Aitch never seems to miss.

Drenched in dynamism, both rappers bring their most effortless delivery to the memorable beat, weaving through the soundscape with charismatic ease. Two Inch Punch and WhyJay’s production is incredibly sharp and vibrant; from the slyly booming bass and lively percussion, to the subtle garage-infused vocal sample and off-kilter synth. The back-to-back verse on the final leg of the track is a stand out moment, with the pair showing immense chemistry as they play off each others energy and lyrical ability.

The track is accompanied by a movie from one of the most creative and talented video directors around, KC Locke, as we see the pair exchanging niceties with each other and the opposite sex in various colourful locations.

These two are untouchable right now. This is a huge tune.
