Killer

Ethereal princess and master of visuals FKA twigs, blesses us with the release of her new single, Killer. The Grammy-nominated artist debuted the track during an enchanting performance at London’s St. Matthias Church, on NPR for their Tiny Desk series.

Through her sultry vocals over an electric backdrop, ‘It’s dangerous to be a woman in love’, she proclaims, as she explores the infatuation and subsequent dissolution that falling in love can be. Speaking on the single she explains: ‘When at its worst the effects of heartbreak can define one’s trajectory much more than the beauty of the love itself, in my song Killer I explore this concept.’

Written by Jimmy Napes, Amanda Ghost, and Jonny Coffer and produced by twigs and Coffer, with production credits to El Guincho, Killer comes following the success and promotion of her January mixtape CAPRISONGS. Collaborating and featuring a compelling mix of artists with rapper Unknown T, Jorja Smith, Rema, and cult-fave Shy Girls making appearances on the album, just to name a few.

Killer is another beautiful and personal piece from the artist. Be sure to have a listen here.
