Superstition

Ethan P. Flynn and Vegyn are mercurial, avant-garde musicians who are challenging and redefining their respective music fields. With the quietly devastating new cut ‘Superstition’, the pair coalesce adeptly to devise a superb concoction of stylistic intricacies.

Released on Christmas Eve, Superstition sees singer-songwriter Flynn join forces with experimental producer Vegyn for an ambient journey through a love, hopes and fears. Vegyn’s left-field production sees Flynn’s folky guitar and crooning vocals combine with subtle hip hop percussion to create a rich and emotive soundscape. Flynn, who is a collaborator of one of the UK’s most exciting new bands Black Country, New Road, is a distinguished, compelling and thoughtful writer, and alongside Vegyn’s sonic sensibilities provides a profound and oddly comforting listening experience.

Having collaborated with some of alternative rap’s most striking names - JPEG Mafia, Jeshi - Vegyn seems destined for a progressively fruitful career as one of the biggest names in contemporary experimental production.
