Stylin

Manchester native [ K S R ] is back with a new single, ‘Stylin’. Despite exploring new directions for his sound, he maintains his usual high quality with an infectious hook and summer-infused instrumental. Produced by Litek, the inspiration to go down a new musical direction came about after working with Tyler Daley of Children of Zeus. Speaking on the single, he commented:

This is another side to me that has not been shown before, an experiment of sorts you could say. Whilst writing my first EP ‘Unfiltered’ I was listening to and being inspired by people such as D’Angelo, Miguel, and Children of Zeus, which you can hear throughout that release, but at the same time I am not stuck to any one genre. I can make anything I like and due to being massively influenced by the likes of Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and Octavian is how this energetic release became reality.

As [ K S R ] continues to unravel his potential in today’s music scene, he pushes his artistic boundaries to give fans a different side to him whilst still maintaining recognisable elements. ‘Stylin’ is a result of pushed boundaries and is definitely an example of the Mancunian’s versatility.
