p-rallel and Louis Culture are becoming leading figures in London’s underground alternative hip-hop scene. Both have a list of noteworthy collaborations and achievements to their names already, with the former supporting slowthai on tour, the latter performing at Boiler Room Festival, and both collaborating with prominent underground London artists such as Lava La Rue and Finn Foxell.

The pair’s latest collaboration, titled ‘Packed Bags’, brings more of the best from the boys. With p-rallel on production, Louis Culture spits over a garage beat that is both laid-back and head-bopping. The steady low-end chords and complex drum patterns are the perfect foundation for Louis’ vocals, using his impeccable flow to fill in the pockets akin to a percussive element. The sound is a move away from some of their chilled, modern hip-hop tracks, but it is definitely a direction worth pursuing.

This duo have bright potential ahead of them. Still in their early twenties and constantly producing incredible music, they are on course for even more success. We are excited to see what the future has in store for them.
