The Nova Scotia-born and Detroit-raised producer has become the first artist to release a project under Earl Sweatshirts label Tan Cressida a long term friend who he built a working relationship with after becoming his tour DJ. The project isn't shy of some interesting guest features which see's collaborations with Earl, bbymutha, Danny Brown, MIKE, Pink Siifu, Liv.e, ZeelooperZ, GVAAN and Duendita.

Seamlessly combining electronic, neo-soul and hip-hop it's evident that influences are taken from Detroit techno and the legend that is J Dilla. With such a distinctive sound, the usage of unpredictable drum loops, distorted sounds displaying his DIY production capabilities with the most confidence. With such a colourful assortment of vocalists, Oblivion provides an impressive all-round portfolio stacked with such high quality guest features.

Bonnie & Clyde, featuring ZeelooperZ discusses the connection between demons and drugs emphasises the term Oblivion, which is the state of being unaware of what is happening around one. 1999 featuring the great Danny Brown exploits the master at work, gifting the Album with two hot verses in his usual fashion full of high energy and noticeable punch lines. By steering away from any commercial sound, Black Noi$e definitely has a loyal fan base routing for him, and the distinctive genre that he has created.

Coinciding with the release of the album, Black Noi$e gifted fans with an enticing live stream, displaying an interactive visual rendition of the project alongside each contributing artist.
