Loops

Brum boys Manics and dylantheinfamous reconnect for their latest release Loops. Following Uno in January, it’s the second track from their upcoming joint project Chimera to see the light of day.

From Jaydonclover to Franklin Armstrong, Manics (aka Be Manic) is another 0121 resident to receive luscious lo-fi beats from the heavily sought-after producer dylantheinfamous. Their forthcoming collaboration continues what they started on their NPC EP last year and on Daniel Rose’s Ain’t So Lucky.

However, Manics has now managed to coax out dylan’s MC alias (Dylan Gray) for one of his sharpest verses to date. Utterly lax, the duo riff off each other’s mellow flows, culminating in a chorus which blends “Life’s just something I do between zoots” and “Life’s just something I do between loops”.

Manics is colder than a midnight bus stop and he’s not stopping soon.
