East Side

The day-dreamy chords and soft-vocals create a love letter to Scribz’ beloved East side of London in this debut single. With it’s vulnerable, free-flowing melody, this tender track written to his hometown moves through a minefield of influence.

The single displays every faucet of his home and the ability for London to switch up your environment without warning. Becoming apparent in the second half of the track, when the calm atmosphere is switched for a manic, percussion-fueled version of the hook, showing his ability to keep his listeners on their toes and his versatility in cohesively, combining extremely opposing moods.

Accompanied by incredible visuals directed by Savannah Setten, the video creates a stunning and emotional portrayal of the good and bad of his beloved area. The track sees itself out with a voice recording from Scribz friend congratulating him on his career moves, perfectly rounding out his hopeful homecoming, to London and to delving into his sound as an artist in his own right.
