A twinkling light in the luminous R&B space, Ana Barrena returns to bless us with Daydreams, a cut bustling with colour and cadence. 

Ana has turned the heads of R&B fans with her, so far, limited releases. After working with upcoming alternative producer Tambala for their joint 2020 EP Mind Movements, the singer released two vibrant solo tracks in ’21, b-side and Daily Déjá vu. Back with her first fresh offering of the year, Ana stuns with her introspective writing and affecting performance. 

Collaborating with Danish producer Highager, groove-laden bass, plucky percussion and atmospheric synths act as a purposeful and vibrant backdrop for Ana to cascade the palette, ethereally venting her frustrations about getting caught in the day-to-day as life silently slips away.  

With plenty of new music in the works, Ana looks set to effortlessly rise through the UK scene.
