My love for finding fresh exciting music knows no bounds! This weekly series will cover the best tracks to come out in the last 7 days and hopefully expose you to some great artists from around the world.

KA-YU - Sense/Feel

KA-YU is a new name on my radar as of this week but I'm already a fan! He hails from The Netherlands which seems to be churning out amazing forward-thinking producers such as Full Crate and Jarreau Vandal. KA-YU represents the Dutch collective Art In Melodies and is signed to electronic music label Darker Than Wax. Sense/Feel is a sensual track that really showcases his love for a good R'n'B melody but then hits you with an infectious Baile Funk beat. It seems that KA-YU can't get enough of the studio because he already has another track out since writing this!

Louis Culture - Yellow Brick Road (Prod. oneninenine)

I remember hearing the American twang mixed with UK slang on Lord Apex's Yoshimitsu and thinking "who is this guy?!" I was shocked to find out that Louis Culture (formerly known as DC Scribbla) was actually based in London and was a up-and-coming rapper I definitely had to keep my eye on. On this latest track, he teams up with oneninenine on the boards letting us know what he WILL make it and it's only a matter of time - I co-sign this statement!

The Kount - We Did It!

A good Funk groove gives me that instant "stank face" and this was brought out from the drop. My shoulders were moving, I had the Jay Z head bounce going - this track is truly electric. The Kount released We Did It! on his birthday (Happy Belated!) and it features Stacey Shopsowitz who killed it on the bass. Bump this one when you're feeling down for an instant pick-me-up.

Joe Trufant - Ruin That (Prod. Tee Watt x Trey Keysor)

Another new artist that I stumbled across on my magical Soundcloud stream is R'n'B singer Joe Trufant. I must have been living under a rock because his tunes have been consistently racking up crazy plays and rightly so. Joe encapsulates this new sound in modern rhythm and blues. I called it Alt RnB, others might call Trapsoul, but all I know is that it's sexy and wavey as hell. Last year Joe Trufant entered the scene strong with his debut EP Fall Through and now he follows up with another full project entitled Better Off Without Me. My favourite track from the project has to be the Tory Lanez inspired Ruin That with his drawl matching perfectly against Tee Watt and Trey Keysor's smooth production. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Ramaj Eroc & [w] - Tues

Chicago based rapper Ramaj Eroc came out with one of my favourite Hip Hop tracks last year. I played Hooptie on the airwaves and it always bumped in DJ sets. But it's not always aggression with Ramaj. He carries over this smooth flow onto his latest project Feelings EP which was executively produced by Kansas' very own [w]. You can tell that both artists bounce off of each perfectly to create a cohesive sound. Also make sure you check out the visuals for tues here.

Seal - Kiss From A Rose (Murlo Remix)

I've been a big fan of Murlo's remixes ever since I copped his What You Need Refix which gets rinsed out in all my sets. He knows how to completely switch up the structure of a track whislt still maintaining its original charm. However, this one is special! When I saw Kiss From a Rose pop up I instinctively said out loud "no way!". This has to be one of my favourite 90's tracks (maybe even a guilty pleasure) and takes me back to watching the train-wreck that was Batman Forever. Murlo forgot about the vocals and totally flipped the recognisable soundtrack into something beautiful. Now I'm getting flashbacks of the underwater level in Mario 64!

Yung $kii - You A Lick (Prod. DjPatt)

Last year was when I really started to explore different corners of Hip Hop and came across artists such as Wifis Funeral, XXXTENTACION & Yung $kii. They embody the aggression of the Hardcore scene but still keep it trill and it was a sound I never knew I needed until now. You a Lick is a short punchy track that just needs to be bumped in the whip.

quickly, quickly - hushed

quickly, quickly is a 16 year old producer representing our future beats family over at TreeHouse Vibes. Besides having a dope artist name, he is creating unbelievable sounds that are pushing the art of sampling and beat-making. Hushed is a Jazz inspired track which makes me want to close my eyes, bop my head and wish it was summer again.
