Coming Closer

Los Angeles-based rapper Duckwrth has teamed up with G.L.A.M and Julia Romana to deliver a nostalgic tune with a bouncy instrumental, ‘Coming Closer’. The infectious dancefloor-ready track boasts a robust synth bass and a lively percussion, whilst the disco-soul chorus by Julia Romana adds a sultry twist to the track. Verses by G.L.A.M and Duckwrth offer a quick paced feeling as they go back and forth. The visuals channel a funky disco 60s aesthetic, with vibrant outfits which match the nostalgic feel of the track. 

With ‘Coming Closer’ following the release of the highly acclaimed single ‘Find A Way’, Duckwrth has been hinting at the release of his next album, potentially entitled ‘Supergood’, which will be dedicated to black women. Duckwrth’s art has a fresh and free feel to it, and the release of a new album is something that many of us will be looking forward to.
