'BAD TASTE' is the Jeshi project fans have been patiently waiting for. Renown for possessing incredible narration skills, listeners get an insight into the good, bad and the ugly enticing those to delve into the adventurous mind of Jeshi.

Since his previous EP ‘The Worlds Spinning Too Fast’ in 2017, Jeshi has solidified his reputation through captivating storytelling and disarming honesty. In 2019, Jeshi toured with like-minded renegade slowthai, and then saw the release of ‘Summer’ resulting in a sultry, low-rumbling 2019 collaboration with Brit Award Rising Star winner, Celeste.

COMING DOWN, a track that pricks the listener’s ears from the beginning with a piercing electronic inspired instrumental. The detailed references throughout the song create a perfect scene of Jeshi’s whereabouts, as well as the feelings he's experiencing. It is clear that the rapper has a range of influences ranging from the likes of Neptunes and Erykah Badu. This isn’t your average rap project, it displays picturesque pockets, and throughout he remains comfortable in a free-flowing swagger.

30,000 FEET, is an enjoyable journey within itself, scored with an unforgettable piano and synth, a combination that cannot be unheard. Openly discussing his personal battles this is the most transparent insight possible. Enhanced by the emotional vocals from Celeste, a seamless collaboration ending the project in phenomenal style.

It's evident that the project has been brewing for a long period of time, Jeshi is a perfectionist to say the least. BAD TASTE is an impressive all-round project, a roller-coaster of cold and warm atmospheres - keeping listeners distracted until the end.

It is called EP but in reality it is much more, at least for me. I worked on it for two years with the aim of representing a sonic introduction to the world that I built around myself and I think I have done a good job
