The latest release from Nightshifts, the recording project of Andrew Oliver is proof that you never know where life will take you.

The single titled ‘20sfeatures The Game, an artist that Oliver met at the age of eleven. The collaboration is a testament to Oliver’s ability to fuse a variety of musical worlds into a tune that stays true to who he is as a recording artist and someone who never shies away from simply asking for what he wants. Utilizing buoyant synths that weave around the listener in a way that touches on otherworldly, Oliver creates the perfect environment for The Game to slide in and leave us with a lighthearted verse that accompanies the disco-like energy of the song.

It’s always a pleasure to witness artists playing with their craft and that’s exactly what we see Oliver partaking in with the poppy piano and jazzy guitar riffs that permeate the verses of the track. One line continues to repeat itself, ‘You will be just fine’. It’s that line that embodies who Oliver is as an artist and the feeling that we hope he’s walking away from this release with.
